Exceeding standards in the plumbing industry
-
My name is Steven Gavrielatos, I’m a licensed Master Plumber in the 5 boroughs of NYC. I bring quality and pride to my work.
In NYC, obtaining a plumbing license is no easy feat. It requires seven years of experience working under a master plumber, followed by months of classes and challenging exams-not everyone makes the cut. Sometimes it takes years. The process is the way it is for a reason.
Unfortunately, many unlicensed plumbers take shortcuts, and in the end, it’s the customer who pays the price-often at a premium. Someone once told me: ‘Pay once, cry once’.
Whether it’s a leak under a sink, a water heater replacement, or a full blown renovation, the quality of my craft remains a top priority.

In NYC, many buildings are required to have their gas piping inspected periodically. And guess what? The city will make sure you know-through letters and threats of fines.
The inspection process involves me visiting your building and conducting a visual survey. If something needs to be corrected, I will bring it to your attention. If there are no issues, the next step is a gas leak inspection, followed by the final paperwork.
I will ensure the inspection is thorough and completed on time, and any issues will be addressed and be brought to your attention if need be.

If you have a backflow device, guess what? I am licensed to test them as well! A lot of buildings have backflow devices, and once again, the city will definitely make you aware of them the only way they know how.
Backflow devices protect both the city’s water supply and your own by preventing contaminated water from flowing backward into the system. If you have a backflow device that needs testing, whether its for domestic water or a sprinkler system, give me a call.
